Nokta Invenio Pro Smart Metal Detector & Imaging System
The Nokta Invenio Pro is an advanced smart metal detector and imaging system designed to provide significantly more target information than a conventional detector. In addition to detecting metal targets, the system is designed to provide information related to target location, estimated depth, dimensions, shape, metal discrimination, and underground ground anomalies or cavities.
The Invenio Pro combines a VLF detector platform with Nokta's IPTU Integrated Positional Tracking Unit. This sensor tracks coil movement, position, and height above the ground while scanning, allowing the system to map detected targets within the search area.
The Pro version expands on the standard Invenio with three selectable operating frequencies, three search coils, and an additional high-capacity system-box battery.
IPTU Integrated Positional Tracking System
The IPTU Sensor tracks the right-to-left and forward-to-back movement of the search coil while monitoring its position and height above the ground.
This positional information allows the Invenio Pro to display detected targets within the scanned area and provide additional analysis including:
- Target location within the scan area
- Estimated target depth
- Estimated target dimensions
- Graphical target shape
- Metal discrimination information
- Ground anomaly and cavity responses
Target Imaging and Analysis
Instead of relying only on audio tones and numeric Target ID values, the Invenio Pro provides graphical information through its large color display.
The system is designed to assist the operator in evaluating underground targets before excavation by displaying information related to target position, response, dimensions, shape, and depth.
Nokta also incorporates adaptive processing designed to improve shape extraction and depth indication as scan data is analyzed.

The Invenio Pro is designed for a wide variety of underground targets and search applications.

Three Operating Frequencies
The Invenio Pro operates at 5 kHz, 14 kHz, and 20 kHz, giving the user greater flexibility for different target types and search conditions.
- 5 kHz: Useful when greater response to larger and higher-conductive targets is desired.
- 14 kHz: A versatile general-purpose operating frequency.
- 20 kHz: Provides increased sensitivity to smaller and lower-conductive targets.
Actual target response and depth will vary with target size, conductivity, orientation, soil conditions, mineralization, coil selection, and detector settings.
Six Search Modes
The Invenio Pro provides three Non-Motion modes and three Motion modes, allowing the detector to be adapted to different types of searches.

INV56 – Large Deep-Search DD Coil

7-Inch Color Display
The Invenio Pro system box features a 7-inch 800 x 480 color TFT display for viewing target information, scan data, menus, and graphical analysis.
The screen includes adjustable backlighting, and the detector also features an LED flashlight for low-light searches.
Wireless System Communication
The Invenio system box and detector shaft communicate wirelessly using a 2.4 GHz connection, reducing the need for a physical cable between the detector assembly and display unit.
The system also supports compatible optional Nokta 2.4 GHz wireless headphones.
Archive and Save Scan Results
The Invenio Pro allows users to save graphical scans and screenshots for later review. Saved data can also be transferred to a computer for storage and analysis.
